Abstract
Based on dissections, angiograms, frozen sections, anatomopathologic examin ation, and CT reconstructions, this anatomic study demonstrates the potenti al causes of compression of the superior gluteal artery (SGA) at the level of the gluteal canal. Findings suggest the existence of an osseofibromuscul ar trap responsible for stenosis of the SGA.
