Abstract
Perfluoromethyl phosphorus and -arsenic compounds of the type (F3C)(2)EE'R (E = P, As; E' = S, Se, Te; R = organic group) are prepared either by dismu tation (metathesis) of E-2(CF3)(4) with (RE')(2) or by reaction of the iodi ne compounds (F3C)(2)EI with mercury(II) organosulfanides Hg(SR)(2) and cha racterized by spectroscopic (H-1, F-19, P-31-NMR; IR; MS) as well as analyt ical investigations (C, H).
