Abstract
Coussarea granvillei is newly described and illustrated from material colle cted in the environs of Mount Galbao, near Saul, French Guiana. This new sp ecies is compared to C. amapaensis, for which the morphological and distrib utional ranges are extended and briefly discussed, and to C. leptophragma a nd C. revoluta.
