Abstract
Nanowire arrays of CdS were fabricated with the method of injecting the sol ution of cadmium acetate and thioacetamide into the pores of anodic aluminu m oxide by pressure different ferentiation. The thioacetamide was used here as the precursor of H2S to ensure the reactantscould reach the proper reac tion site before the mineralization began. Nanowire arrays with the wire di ameters of 20, 32, and 48 nm were prepared with this method.
