D. Ravelo et al., Microbiological performance of Garanver solid fermentation with Trichoderma viride and Aspergillus niger W2, CUBAN J AGR, 33(2), 1999, pp. 199-204
The microbiological performance of Trichoderma ma viride and Aspergillus ni
ger W2 was analysed during the solid state fermentation of Garanver. A comp
letely randomized design with a 2 x 2 factorial arrangement was used in whi
ch the variation sources were two conidial fungi strains and two substrate
variants (sterile and non-sterile). The predominance of yeasts and bacteria
was confirmed with more than 70% CFU in the first 24 hr of fermentation Af
ter 72 hr, conidial fungi pervailed with 89% CFU. The initial microbiote of
Garanver hindered Trichoderma viride and Aspergillus niger W2 growth.
