Abstract
This paper describes a case of Pneumocystis carinii (PC) presenting as a co mmon bile duct intraluminal mass in an HIV-infected 30-yr-old homosexual ma n. In fine-needle aspiration smears, exuberant vascular proliferation assoc iated with multinucleated giant-cell reactions was found within the granula r exudate of PC. Diagn. Cytopathol. 2000;22:25-26.
