Abstract
A new secure digital communication scheme is presented which is based on hy perchaotic synchronisation. The message is masked and easily recovered. The chaotic masking signal shows strong randomness. The length of the secure k ey is calculated to be >200 bit. The security of speech communication is si gnificantly increased.
