Abstract
Electrical polarisation mode dispersion (PMD) and receiver bandwidth genera ted intersymbol interference (ISI) mitigation using an analogue decision fe edback loop for 10Gbit/s NRZ signals is demonstrated. ISI caused by fast-or der PMD of up to 120ps differential group delay was equalised. Error free r ecovery of signals with completely closed eye diagrams was achieved.
