The problem of adaptive control of a linearobject using a controller w
ith an implicit reference model (standard) and a subsystem of parametr
ic current information is considered. A is shown that for the class of
systems under study the adaptation errors do not stem from the object
parameter estimates as such, but only depend on the discrepancies bet
ween the procedures of estimation. Conditions for asymptotically preci
se tracking of the standard by a controlled object are formulated. The
se conditions are the condition under which the matrix of coefficients
of the reference model exhibits the properties of the Hurwitz matrix
and the rant condition on the combination of an estimate and a true va
lue of the matrix of coefficients accounting for the efficiencies of o
bject inputs. An illustrative example is given.
