Abstract
The effect:of culture medium filtrate of B. subtilis AB-56 on the immunogen ecity of mouse sarcoma 37 cells was studied. A significant increase in the antitumor antibody level was observed after inoculation of tumor cells trea ted with filtrate for 1 hour. An increased immune response has been detecte d also,with mixed tumor cells and filtrate. The discovered phenomena is sug gested to play an important role in the induction of antitumor immunity.
