Abstract
The pathophysiological role of parietal fibrin deposits of blood vessel wal ls in the target organ for metastases during Lewis lung carcinoma growth in C57Bl/6 mice was investigated. The compensatory role of parietal fibrinous formations in the blood vessel's wall barrier function was shown. The pari etal fibrin deposits were found to facilitate the cell and particle attachm ent to a blood vessel wall. The role of parietal fibrin deposits in metasta sis is discussed.
