Abstract
This paper discusses factorization of bent function type complex Hadamard m atrices of order p(n) with a prime p. It is shown that any bent function ty pe complex Hadamard matrix has sym:metrical factorization, which can be exp ressed by the product of n matrices of order pn with p(n+1) non-zero elemen ts, a matrix of order p(n) with p(n) non-zero ones, and the n matrices, at most. As its application, a correlator for M-ary spread spectrum communicat ions is successfully given, which can be simply constructed by the same cir cuits with reduced multiplicators, before and behind.
