Abstract
A numerical procedure for solving the parametric optimization problem is pr oposed. It can be easily implemented on computers. This procedure is applie d in calculating the elements of leading out of an aircraft onto the target in the horizontal plane with several versions of fixing the right end of t he trajectory. These versions correspond, in terms of navigation, to a targ et approach from an arbitrary or specified direction, i.e., to bringing the aircraft into the required final state. The proposed technique is as follo ws. The trajectory of an aircraft flight to the target is divided into part s depending on the maneuver, the form of which is uniquely determined by th e initial state of the aircraft. The calculation of the maneuver elements a llows us to derive feasible trajectories of the aircraft movement, taking i nto account the wind and the time required to roll into and out of a bank. These feasible trajectories include the optimal one, which gives the minima l time required for target approach under specified restrictions.
