Superconductors in the Tl1.3Hg0.7Ba2-xSrx+yCa1-yCu2O7+delta system (sp.gr.I
4/mmm) were prepared through standard powder reaction in closed vessels. Th
e transition temperatures (T-c) for the different stoichiometries spanned f
rom 100 to 45 K. Both cell parameters (a and c) increased in proportion to
T-c. These changes were mainly related to the distribution of size differin
g atoms at two sites in the structure and not to the oxidation state of Cu.
The presence of Ba seemed favorable when comparing composition and T-c.
