Nb-93 (I=9/2) NMR in a triclinic BiNbO4 crystal, grown by the Czochralski m
ethod, has been investigated at room temperature. Rotation patterns of reso
nance lines were obtained in two specific planes; xy- and zx-plane. Four se
ts of NMR spectra for Nb-93 were obtained. It turns out that the chemically
inequivalent Nb centers (Nb1 and Nb2) have two magnetically inequivalent N
b sites, respectively. The quadrupole coupling constant (e(2)qQ/h) and asym
metry parater (eta) of both Nb1 and Nb2 centers were determined. The princi
pal axes of EFG tensor for Nb1 center are also determined.
