Abstract
A new organic phosphate of (8-HQDH)(H2PO4) . H2O has been obtained by hydro thermal reaction. The crystal structure was determined with data: triclinic , space group P (1) over bar, a = 6.541(1) Angstrom, b = 8.5909(8) Angstrom , c = 10.769(1) Angstrom, alpha = 98.734(7)degrees, beta = 91.20(1)degrees, gamma = 97.91(1)degrees, V = 591.9(1) Angstrom(3), and Z = 2. The (H2PO4)( -) groups and H2O molecules stack into sheets and 8-HQ cations fixed parall elly with each other to form an intercalating compound by H-bonds. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A.
