Abstract
We construct an extended Hubbard model with open boundaries from an R-matri x based on the U-q[Osp(2 \ 2)] superalgebra. We study the reflection equati on and find two classes of diagonal solutions. The corresponding one-dimens ional open Hamiltonians:are diagonalized by means of the Bethe ansatz appro ach. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
