Transvaginal ultrasonography is a less invasive examination method than tra
nsrectal and transurethral ultrasonography for women. However, in spite of
the use of transrectal and transurethral ultrasound for the detection of a
bladder tumor being well known to urologists, we found no previous studies
on transvaginal ultrasonography as a method to evaluate bladder carcinoma.
We report a case in which transvaginal ultrasonography contributed to the s
creening and evaluation of bladder carcinoma.
