Abstract
Two new cylcoartane glycosides along with a known compound, 12 beta-hydroxy cimigenol 3-O-alpha-1-arabinopyranoside, were isolated from the rhizomes of Cimicifuga dahurica (Ranunculaceae). The structures of the new compounds w ere elucidated as cimigenol 3-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside and 25-O-acetyl-c imigenol 3-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside on the basis of chemical and spectra l evidence.
