An experimental study was performed to obtain design data for a cool s
torage system using HCFC-141b (1,1-dichloro-1-fluoro-ethane) enabled H
CFC-141b clathrate formation/decomposition up to 40 mass% of clathrate
concentration. The addition of ethylene glycol caused the clathrate f
ormation/decomposition temperature to decrease, resulting in the acqui
sition of more cooled water.
