Abstract
Extraction of aromatic hydrocarbons and heteroatomic compounds from atmosph eric gas oil using acetonitrile-water-pentane and dimethylacetamide-water-p entane extraction systems was studied. A raffinate containing less than 10 wt % arenes suitable for preparing summer diesel fuel and an extract contai ning more than 90 wt % arenes were obtained.
