Abstract
Advantages are substantiated of systems for continuous water quality monito ring in the flow over the conventional procedure for ecological monitoring and technological control of aquatic environment, based on periodic samplin g. General principles applicable to designing of systems of this kind are d iscussed on the basis of the experience gained in developing ship-home ecoa nalytical complexes. Data are presented concerning the methodological suppo rt of such complexes.
