Abstract
Retention indices (reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography) a
nd relative optical densities A(rel) = A(254)/A(220) of a series of N-subst
ituted nitrochloroanilines and some model compounds were determined. The re
lationship derived in considering these parameters was used to identify oth
er classes of organic compounds by chromatography and spectrometry.
