Abstract
The extraction of ionic associates of nickel and cobalt(II) with nitrosooap hthols and basic dyes has been studied. The organic complexes of nickel and cobalt(II) with nitrosonaphthols are shown to be extracted from alkaline m ixtures by low-polarity solvents in the form of ionic associates with basic dyes. The composition and basic spectrophotometric characteristics of extr acted compounds and optimal conditions of their preparation have been estab lished. The method for determining Ni-II and Co-II in waters has been worke d out.
