What's new in neurocritical care?

Neurocritical Care has turned out to be an actively developing part of clin ical neurology both with regard to primary clinical aspects and clinical re search and education of younger doctors and health care staff. More and mor e clinical aspects of acute neurology are integrated in neurocritical care. In this overview new aspects and developments are discussed which refer to the main clinical problems as cerebrovascular diseases, severe head injury , inflammatory diseases, epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases and disturbances or disorders arising with treatment in ICU.
