Abstract
Charge transfer collisions between C-60(3+) and C-60 are studied for c ollision energies between 400 and 3600 eV. Single and double electron transfers are observed, both occuring under single collision condition s. Absolute charge transfer cross sections are determined as a functio n of collision energy. The cross section for single electron capture o f approx. 300 Angstrom(2) is about two times larger than that for doub le electron transfer. For both processes the cross section increases s lightly with increasing collision energy.
