Double-chamber right ventricle (DCRV) exhibits intracavitary outflow obstru
ction. We report the first case of percutaneous myocardial ablation of DCRV
in a 73-year-old patient. An alcohol-induced conus branch occlusion provid
ed the reduction of pressure gradient from 81 to 48 mm Hg and clinical impr
ovement. This strategy may be an alternative therapy to surgery in the adul
t patients with DCRV. (C) 2000Wiley-Liss, Inc.
