Abstract
Morphological evidence of a temporal parallelism between the appearance of the oc isoform of protein kinase C (PKC) and some processes such as synapto genesis in the plexiform layers of the chicken retina is offered. Immunosta ining experiments were performed throughout embryonic, young and adult chic ken life. The results help to understand the development of rod bipolar cel ls. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
