Abstract
The fuzzy multivalued dependency is defined on the lines of classical multivalued dependency to resolve the redundancy and inconsistency in fuzzy databases. The implication problem of fmvd's has been examined a nd a set of sound and complete inference axioms has been proposed. We next examine lossless join problem of fuzzy relations in the presence of fuzzy functional dependencies and fuzzy multivalued dependencies an d obtain decomposition of relation schemes.
