Abstract
Genetic efficiency data of nine short tandem repeat (STR) loci were determi
ned by multiplex PCR using fluorescently labeled primers and subsequent ana
lysis by capillary electrophoresis (ABI 310). For each locus 7-14 alleles w
ere detected. The combined matching probability is about 1 x 10(-11). No de
viations from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium were observed.
