Abstract
Hypoxylon duriloculatum, H. madangense, H. rugulospoum, and H. vanderv ekenii are described as new species. Two dichotomous keys to 31 Hypoxy lon species of sections Hypoxylon and Annulata known to occur in Papua New Guinea are presented and a synoptic key is given to taxa of secti on Hypoxylon.
