R2CuIn3 (R = Ce, Pr, Nd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er) compounds crystallize in the hexag
onal P6(3)/mmm space group, Susceptibility measurements, showed that compou
nds with R = Nd, Tb, Dy, Ho and Er order antiferromagnetically with T-N ran
ging from 8 K (Ho) to 30 K (Tb). Ce2CuIn3 and Pr2CuIn3 do not show any orde
ring temperature down to 4.7 ii, The compounds with R = Tb, Er present two
