Abstract
The heat capacity of the alloy Tc0.85Ru0.15 has been measured with a Seiko 220C Differential Scanning Calorimeter from 300 to 973 K. In addition, meas urements have been mode for solid Ru. Combining the results, the heat capac ity of technetium metal has been approximated applying the Neumann-Kopp rul e. The results thus obtained are compared to data found in the literature.
