Abstract
Trifluoromethylated tertiary allylic alcohols, obtained from trifluoromethy lation of several conjugated enones, undergo oxidative rearrangements to 3- trifluoromethyl-2-cycloalkenones with pyridinium chlorochromate in the pres ence of a small amount of concentrated H2SO4.
