Abstract
The magnetoresistance of sis untwinned YBa2Cu3O7-delta crystals has been me asured above T-c for I perpendicular to B parallel to c. Fluctuation theori es allowing for an in-plane coherence length anisotropy (xi(a) not equal xi (b)) were used in the analyses. The results suggest that the anisotropy, ga mma = xi(b)/xi(a), is considerably lower than that expected from the resist ivity ratio, i.e., gamma < root rho(a)/rho(b). Some magnetoresistive measur ements with the field in the ab-plane are also presented.
