Temperature dependent photoresponse of thin La0.75Ca0.25MnO3 films to visib
le and near-infrared laser radiation has been studied in a wide temperature
range. At temperatures below 50 K, we have found a non-bolometric contribu
tion to the response which can be explained by suppression of the spin-glas
s-like ordering in the film due to the absorption of radiation with quantum
energy high enough for excitation of spin-flip process.
