Abstract
The present paper reviews recent results of experiments and modelling on ph ase changes of L1(2) ordered alloys under energetic particle irradiation. T he temperature dependence of the various processes are discussed for the si ngle phase Ni3Al as well as for the precipitated phase in a disordered soli d solution. Treated are the size of the cascade-induced disordered zones, t he ordering efficiency by point defect migration, the disordering kinetics for overlapping cascade damage and the disordering and dissolution of gamma ' precipitates in a Ni base alloy, (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
