Lj. Qiao et al., Prediction of threshold stress intensity factor for hydrogen induced intergranular cracking of tubular steel, MAT SCI E A, 276(1-2), 2000, pp. 141-146
Combining hydrogen enrichment, segregation to grain boundaries and their ef
fects on surface and plastic energies, a model was developed to predict thr
eshold stress intensity factor for hydrogen induced intergranular cracking.
For a tubular steel: the calculated K-IH/K-IC is 0.34 while the experiment
ally determined value is 0.32, which is fairly consistent with the theoreti
cal value. (C) 2000 Published by Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
