Iy. Pyshmintsev et al., Hardening of low-carbon, high-strength steel by deformation in the intercritical temperature range, METAL SCI H, 41(5-6), 1999, pp. 202-206
The effect of deformation in the intercritical temperature range on the pha
se composition, structure, and properties of low-alloy steel of type 08G6N2
MAF is considered. It is established that the deformation increases the sta
bility of secondary retained austenite, provides a fibrous structure, and i
mproves the mechanical proper ties of the steel. The special features of te
xture formation under different deformation temperatures are described, and
the role of the structural components in the evolution of mechanical prope
rties is discussed.
