Abstract
Pharmacologic testing is a method that may be employed to predict the perma nent outcome of arterial embolization. Various drugs used for these tests a nd their differential indications are discussed. Pharmacologic testing prov ides an additional margin of safety and is useful as an adjunctive tool whe n performing embolizations of vessels supplying the head, brain, or spinal cord.
