Abstract
The synthesis of a set of homo-thymine analogues of peptide nucleic acids c ontaining ester or N-methylamide linkages as well as analogues derived from trans-4-hydroxy-L-proline and their hybrids has been accomplished, and the ir binding affinity to complementary DNA and RNA strands was evaluated.
