Abstract
The novel bis(phosphaferrocene)-substituted ferrocene 4 has been prepared f rom the corresponding cyclopentadienide 3 and shown to act as a P,P-chelate ligand in the Mo(CO)(4) comptex 5, which was structurally characterized. E nantiomerically pure (S,S)-4 was used as ligand in the catalytic asymmetric allylic substitution.
