Abstract
The effect of using more than one loop filters in a phase looked loop (PLL) system is reported. The modified system becomes conditionally st able, has larger signal acquisition range, better transient response a nd reduced deleterious effect caused by the additional loop time delay . Experimental studies support the analytical findings.
