The paper aims at establishing the adsorption capacity of MN+P type activat
ed carbon for Mo(VI) present under various species form in aqueous solution
s. The adsorption capacity dependence on the pH value and the initial Mo(VI
) concentration in solution was studied. The isotherms type for MN+P activa
ted carbon was fixed for Mo(VI) adsorption by lifting the experimental resu
lts on various isotherm models. The Mo(VI) adsorption conditions on MN+P ca
rbon, established on model synthetic solutions were verified on waste indus
trial aqueous solutions.
