This report describes the development of a pleuroperitoneal fistula complic
ating pleural aspergillosis in a 63-year old nonimmunocompromised man treat
ed with itraconazole. The patient presented a confluent granuloma of the ab
domen while an abscess of the abdominal wall was disclosed. Skin involvemen
t, usually described in disseminated aspergillosis, has not been reported i
n pleuropulmonary aspergillosis.
