Abstract
Tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV) NS3 gene has been subcloned into the e xpression vector pcDNAI and expressed in eukaryotic cells. Immunization of mice with the recombinant plasmid pcDNAI-NS3 induced antibodies against NS3 protein but did not protect from viral challenge.
