Abstract
A preliminary study on the tract elements (As, Hg, Pb, Cd, Cu, Cr, Fr. Mn a nd Zn) and natural radioactivity has been made to determine from drinking w ater in eight locations of sampling site. Attention has been focused in par ticular on trace elements for most of which no data were available in the s tudied area. The obtained results showed that; in general, the trace elemen ts concentration in eight sampling site from drinking water did not exceed WHO limits. It was observed that global activity for sampling site 2-4 did exceed WHO limits. and than further investigations are needed: only one loc ation for one sampling site was the global alpha activity within limits, in others WHO guidelines were not reached.
