Abstract
This paper investigates the methods for controlling chaos in the Lorenz sys tem with nonlinear feedback functions. Feedback functions and results of co ntrolling chaos are presented through theoretical analysis. The results of theory and numerical calculations indicate that the trajectories of a chaot ic system can be controlled to approach the target periodic orbits or point s by feedback functions.
