Abstract
Acoustic waves propagation in a liquid-filled bed with microbubbles is inve stigated. Analysis of the dispersion relation has showed strong influence o f the free gas content on ultrasound dispersion and attenuation. The result s indicate potential possibilities of the acoustic method as a diagnostic t ool for a gas content detection in chemical reactors operating in two-phase how regime.
