We study lepton distributions in flavor-changing neutral current induc
ed B meson decays into a pair of light leptons along with strange stat
es. In addition to the invariant mass distribution, we examine the pol
arization, forward-backward, and polarization forward-backward asymmet
ries of the final state leptons. The standard model predictions for th
ese distributions are at a level which is accessible to the Forthcomin
g B Factories. We also investigate the consequence of extensions of th
e standard model, including models with two Higgs doublets and supersy
mmetric extensions. Substantial deviations in individual distributions
are found in certain regions of the parameter space of specific model
s. Therefore confronting these findings with future measurements may e
ither highlight new physics or place constraints on extensions beyond
the standard model. We derive results determined by the structure of t
he effective Hamiltonian which is common to the standard model and oth
er models, independently of the values of couplings which can vary fro
m model to model.
